Pepper chicken fry

Serves 2 to 3

  • 500g cleaned chicken (bone-in)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • A required amount of salt
  • 200ml water

1. Place a deep sauce pan over a medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Fry for a few minutes, then add in the water, turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder. Mix well and cover it with lid.

Thank you for taking time to visit my blog. I am glad that you love Indian food. To answer your question, Turmeric is a spice, yellow in colour which is commonly used in curries. Amazingly, it has powerful antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumour properties. It also has other extrodinary health benefits too.
